Last night I stopped reading this thread to put Ryleigh to bed at page 5. Only in the Lounge would a thread about toast be up to 120 posts. But, hey, I'm adding more so there ya go!!
When I was pregnant with Ryleigh, I had to be on special medication that made me very sick. I couldn't eat much more than plain toast for 9 months.

I still eat it occasionally, but it took me a couple of years before I could stand the smell of toasted bread again.
When I was growing up, we never used real butter. When I moved out on my own and started cooking for my husband, all the baking and cooking books would say to use butter, no margarine. I couldn't believe how much better everything tasted. I haven't bought margarine in years. My doctor told me that as long as you use it like everything else, in moderation, it's fine.
Dixie, thanks for the butter bell link. My husband and kids are forever leaving the butter dish out so the butter will be soft when they want it.

This will help stop the "mom grumblings".

There were some pretty interesting products on the page as well. I do love a good gadget! I just wish I had more cabinet space.
