Find common ground. Environmentalism should work. Then point out that cows are one of the primary producers of methane, (a global warming gas), and point out that you are just doing your part to help reduce the problem.

Remember all those BBQs with foreign dignitaries that Bush held on his ranch? Who knew Bush was such a rabid environmentalist!
