BTW what is the best temperature to store/eat chocolate. If one left it out in the open in AZ it would melt, no?

In the UK, usually room temperature, especially for eating. Cold chocolate loses most of its taste (which is great if it's the ultra-sweet chocolate-flavoured confectionary masquerading as chocolate, a lot less good for the decent stuff). If you do put in the fridge, take it out before you want to eat it so it can up to room temperature.

The weather here is sunny and far too hot. Antihistamines are currently my friend, prickly heat most definitely isn't.
