I've just installed the sony ebook software for my new PRS505 here in the UK.
After the successful installation I clicked the "check for updates" button, with a response that none was available. I noted that the software was at version 2.3.xxxx, but I was looking at the US sony site which has version 2.5.xxx as the latest version.
My question is... are the software / firmware versions country specific?
