latest news: scotty's pdf viewer ipdf4 & ipdf5 are not compatible with 2.8.
This should be a library problem, some were changed with 2.8, so scotty's viewer don't start, when just the binary is replaced in /usr/bin.
Again:
[1] Please delete the scripts - which were written for 2.7-2.71 - on your iLiad. Please, don't execute them.
[2] If you executed an old script, use ipdf28.zip in post #100 to get back ipdf 2.8.
Attached scripts in ipdf28.zip have a strict firmware policy: file in /usr/bin will only changed if you have firmware 2.8. If you don't have 2.8, you will get a error message, nothing get's changed.
