I agree with you that the lifetime subscription is well worth it... but the more time I spend on LibraryThing the more irritated I become at how buggy it is. Is this a recent thing, or has its fairly active development always caused bugs popping up left right and centre?
Most are, of course, temporary... but many are also just very silly. Buttons for basic functionality should never stop working... and most of the time the problem is some javascript nonsense probably unrelated to the actual functionality. I wish they'd either test stuff better before making it live, or layed off the AJAX.
