I had to go through four security checks yesterday. Two in Japan and two in the US. At three of them they insisted that I put my reader into a separate tray. At one they said only laptops need to be separated!

But... hear's a new one on me... in the pre-take-off and landings, when all laptops and cell phones have to turned off, the message on all flights was "Please switch off all devices that have an on/off switch!" I turned off my hearing aids just to be on the safe side!

Oh yes! Over the course of 23 hours of flight time, I got feed more than a Perdue chicken! It seemed like every two hours the FA's were coming around with something. I finally had to tell them to stop waking me up! It was nice of them but I'd prefer to spend the flight time sleeping so as to get my body into the new biorythm.
