Thank you for this, very helpful. As with wermy, I'm interested in the SmartQ 7 almost entirely for reading comics (everything else it does are welcome bonuses).

Once the steps above are taken to install the apps, is it simply a matter of dropping the .cbr/.cbz files into the relevant folder?

I have a MacBook - have you read of any problems using the Q7 with them or should that be fine?

Finally, where would you buy one from?

Any advice much appreciated.
