You took a specifically qualified statement and quoted it without the qualifying statement. How can that not be out of context?

Do you have a statement from the companies working on colour epaper to back that up or is it your opinion?

IMO That is only true for some books. But for the very vast majority I do not believe that is the case...

Sure it would be nice to get a colour cover etc etc. And It will open a whole new market for graphic novels/art books and the like (which is why I think they are working on it).

Hmm. I was under the impression that you can speed up the refresh rate by eliminating the flash. But that this would mean you get some ghosting between pages. I will admit however that this is not an option on either of the readers I own.
