The experiment appears to show that MR participants were unable adhere to the delineated rules after the consumption of 11 individual bottles of beer. Not, notice, by a single person consuming 11 bottles of beer but rather by 11 different persons each consuming one bottle of beer.

Now one might suppose that yvanleterrible was working off a contact high or possibly misunderstood and was consuming a beer for each beer that was removed from the wall.

It might be argued from yvanleterrible's post #8 that the criteria "we can rid the wall of beer bottles" was meet prior to his second post since he apparently got rid of the wall by dropping the beer on the floor in post #8. However there is no substantiation that the "wall of beer bottles" was gotten rid of unless one accepts that numerous following posts were picking the beer up off the floor. This is cercumstantial evidence at best and I, for one, do not accept that rational.

In any case it is instructive to note that once the experiment criteria were violated the MR participants continued on for another 6 pages, 71 posts. In increasingly deranged comments they appear to still be trying to proceed with the experiment.

Sorry! I just can't help it, the clinking of bottles has the same religious attraction on me than a church bell to a faithful.

BTW The song mentions a typical garden variety stone(d) wall. They used to set broken bottles in cement on top of walls to ward off intruders. You had to empty the things before you broke'em!
