I finally told her that I was going to buy it and if it didn't work it was my bad, not hers.
I felt like saying, "I've got an M.S. in Electronics Engineering that says copper is copper -- what d'you got, lady?" 
It worked fine, BTW (and I'm glad in retrospect that I answered with option 'A').  |
