There used to be a comedian on cable(and might still be!) named Gallagher that had a joke... "every time the light turns yellow, 3 cars go through, if you're in that lane when the light changes, GET MOVING so the rest of us can get through!" (or something to that effect)
I think way too many people took that to be law
PS- I do believe he was living in Florida when he came up with that joke... maybe it's a local thing
