Actually there are a few very nicely made CDs targetted at children. It's an excellent piece to introduce them to classical music as there is a funny story behind it. Plus they get to know the various instruments as every animal and person gets their respective instrument so the children always know which instrument is which person/animal.
There is even a hilarious version by Weird Al Yankovits but that's not so good for children (obviously, if you know his humour)
