YIKES! Unbelievable!
I was hit by a car once riding a bike across a busy street. I wasn't really hurt, it was more like a hard tap, and it was my fault anyway. Well, my brother's. He made me cross the street there (I didn't want to) and I was a grade schooler who was so scared of the cars. Luckily, we were only about 15 yards from a stoplight, so the car had been slowing down anyway. I was on my way to meet Ronald McDonald. I had won some dumb competition that meant I got to meet Ronald. I was already old enough to know it wasn't super cool. My mom thought she was putting my name into a birthday club (free food) thing.

I'm glad there were sane people there who actually cared about what happened to you. I cannot believe that driver. well, I can, actually, that's the sad part.
