Those download links have been there for at least the last few weeks and perhaps longer.
As for mobi, epub and rtf support, the current firmware posted on that site already supports reading those formats. You just lose all your formatting.
The upcoming firmware that I posted about will have better support for epub and mobi. I understand that HTML will also be added. As I posted elsewhere, the beta that I am using is noticeably better than the current firmware. It is also still missing a few things. My comments about the beta were emailed to Ectacto and I am waiting for another beta to test.
