About 5 years ago, I was crossing (by foot) the street at an intersection, at the green light, and a cab that was turning hit me and sent my flying away.
I managed to sit and put my back against the cab, but I couldn't move more than that, nor stop crying, so the driver actually stepped out of his car to ask me to
move and let him take his clients to their destination. He said he'd be back afterward!!! Of course, I didn't move, mostly because I couldn't - I had a concussion and a knee injury, and I was in such a state of chock!
Thank God there were some other nice pedestrians that took care of him and called an ambulance for me!
Morals: Car drivers=bad; pedestrians=good!
