I just finished reading A Betrayal in Winter by Daniel Abraham. It's the second in his Long Price Quartet and an excellent book. The first book in the series, A Shadow in Summer was one of the freebies that TOR gave away last year in their ramp-up to their new web fan site.

It took a long time for the rest of the series to show up in electronic editions, and this one is an .azw1 file, which is one of the "Topaz" conversions. I found some of the usual annoyances with the Topaz formatting: broken characters, bad spacing, and the occasional missing word. But these were not significant enough to detract from the story. I don't know if it is available at any other bookstore or not -- the Topaz format would imply that the publisher has not yet gotten around to producing/releasing a proper eBook.
