Actually, it's "truc", and it's pronounced with a "ü", like "über" ... which is one of the letters most english speakers have problems with. Just like the french can't vocalize the "h", and germans (and austrians) just completely replace any "th" with an "s" or a "z" and refuse to properly use "w" and "v" by softening any instance of "v", like "Win Diesel", "Darth Wader" or "Space Inwaders" ...
