Especially if she samples before buying. I've saved a ton of money on NOT buying books after reading the sample. (You do need to be in wireless coverage areas to get samples but that's rarely an issue for me.)

As for getting public domain books, They're simple if you know about the handy download guides from this site and Feedbooks.com. It's as easy as clicking on a link.
