No, I am suggesting that there might be one or two hidden under a rock, stashed behind an oversized coffee table book in the back of a Boarders, or hidden on a shelf waiting for Christmas morning to be given.

What I am saying is that using the number of MobileRead members that have reported that they have a Sony Reader and given the number of Sony Readers we can suspect of being distributed in the USA based on the Serial Numbers that a significant number of them are represented in this forum.

The 2.28% was a solid number earlier today. Since there are lurkers (visitors) that have never registered and been counted (and they always seem to outnumber the members) that the real influence of this forum is more like 5% to 10%. If you then add a few points for units that have yet to be given (that are in reserve), those that were given to the press for review, and the now and then DOA unit (like the ones mentioned with the vertical line) since this would reduce the universe of outstanding units.

Therefore, other than the CONNECT store, this may well represent the largest collection of Sony Reader users in the world.
