No, I'm in Dixon. 50 miles or so
south of Rockford. And I've been there all of once, at night and I wasn't driving, so I'm not about to take off up there by myself.

Sock yarn is a special blend, usually part wool or cotton and part nylon, for stretch and snap back so they don't get all saggy. It's also a very light weight. Usually even lighter than baby yarn.
Our Walmart today had nothing even close, and didn't have all the ribbon I need for fringing the scarves I made, either. I'm going to HAVE to find someone to go with me to Rockford, or at least DeKalb to Michael's. Although I'm not sure they'd have what I want either.
