I was speaking about web stuff at a conference and I mentioned ebooks. One of the attendees had a Kindle. I said something about how my Cybook was different and it was more the device "for me" and she said, very sympathetically, she was sorry that it hadn't been available when I purchased my reader. I told her, "It
was available." She stared at me incomprehendingly.
The Kindle is a great device, I've actually talked other people into buying them because I knew it was perfect for their needs, but it's not for me, at least not at this time. I rule nothing out for the future.
