I have three weeks off from classes. The crochet bug has bitten me again, and now that I actually have time to indulge, guess what? I can't buy yarn anywhere within a forty mile radius!! I didn't think yarn was an esoteric commodity, but maybe I was wrong. All I'm looking for is sock yarn - everyone is making socks these days, they're fun, fast, and fairly easy, so you'd think someone around here would carry it. Nooooo....and there are no yarn specialty shops closer than Rockford, which is too far for me to drive and get there before they close after taking Chris to work (second shift scheduling).
That leaves ordering it online -which I've been amazingly good at, so far, but I don't really have the time to wait on the orders to get here, by the time I get the yarn, it'll be time to start classes again! |
