Oh hell, Steve, we've had much (MUCH) longer threads about stupider stuff than whether a much beloved and lauded series of books is complete crap or not.
There's a fairly long thread out there somewhere that seems to have turned into a discussion of color preferences for underwear. That's the way it is here. Your surprise in this regard shocks me to my very core.
