I am a full time reader. I have not a device with a long battery life, but I can carry it around and I don't have e-ink. So, where would you put me? That won't stop me from admitting I'd love an e-ink device, but then, I am some kind of gadget freak (only my wallet stops me from being a full-time gadget freak...)

(and I usually have a cap on when I'm outside, so the sun won't blind my eyes, but my reader can still be in bright sunlight).
