Pdcurrant made the rules of the poll, but you make an interesting points. It is tv same with clones (and possibly teleportation) if you do not carry on you past experiences and conciousness, this is not imortality. Even if your clone or reincarnate body has copies of them.

A few years ago, a radio talk show host was dismayed at how those who had themselves frozen for later resuscitation, at how they would feel bad at how they lost so much time in heaven.

I mean, what does death mean to a person with this belief? Did god withold heaven while their corpse was in deep freeze?

I have no answers. And I disbelieve anyone elses.
