I was salivating in front of videos of the PRS-700 earlier today. But when I read a thread like this one I am less impressed.
That is when you realize the importance of having free open source software inside the things you buy.
The 700 has great advantages over my Lbook (stylus, fast interaction, moving the pdf with the stylus, light, notes,...), but you can only hope (rather hopelessly unfortunately) for improvements.
In the case of the open source GPL software of the Hanlin/Lbook/Bebook, we can get in touch with some of the developers from several countries working on continuously improving the firmware, and even improve it ourselves.
