Hello,
I'm the new owner of that Reader with that foolish display problem philippd talked about! Thank you Philipp for your exemplary assistance after buying that reader via ebay from you!
Well - back to the problem. Philippd send the picture from my reader which shows two times a half page of every page I select. I' able to see all pages, I can access every storage internal and from sd-card. The red power light is on when I switch on the reader. I see everything on the reader - only the design is wrong.
Philippd supposed maybe a loose connector or anything like that? Last I did with that reader before the problem occured was copying a book to the sd-card and leaving the reader on usb for half an hour. Then I put the reader in a thin bag which fell down from the table to the floor. From that moment the problem occured. So I think I can only contact a Sony Service in Germany or do you know anything better? Thank you for trying to help! rossario

I forgot to tell that the left side of the view is black and white - the right side ist white and black.
