Well, flying cars already exists; they are called "helicopters." It's just that they are too expensive for the average person to afford. Or, to quote William Gibson "The future is already here - it is just unevenly distributed."

Anyways, here is what I think is long overdue.

A portable radio with rechargeable batteries under 25 dollars. Really.
An iPod with drag and drop. I am never buying another iPod until I have a way to get songs into it that is not syncing.
A $100 laptop which is available for everyone. No, the $188 XO-1 which is not available at that price to people in the first world does not count.
A $50 eBook reader or a $100 E Ink eBook reader.
