Just got mine today at Borders!

Ok, so after weeks of talking myself OUT of buying one of these things because of the price. Man, I just bought a friggin' Ebookwise 1150 two weeks ago and it still works fine, so no real logic behind this!

<sigh> But the gadget geek in me got the better of me. I went to "just look at it" and maybe talk myself out of buying it. Surely after seeing it, I would be able to talk myself out of buying right? Um, no. I saw the display and I thought it was a sticker or a fake display--I didn't realise that it was the actual product. My first experience with E-Ink!

I mean, I know everyone here was saying it's really awesome, but I thought, just maybe it was hype. It's not just hype. I couldn't believe the display. The great thing is that i have read so much about here on these boards (thanks to you guys!) that I already had a SD card with me to try it out.

Didn't take long to fool around and when the Borders person came to help me, I knew more about the product than her. Um, it took me all of 10 minutes to decide to buy. I'm weak!!!

So anyway, I have it and I am in love with it. And my 16 year son inherited my recently bought Ebookwise 1150, so we are all reading. Yay!
