I've had my Kindle for about 4 months now and went a little crazy buying all the books that were on my "to read" list that I didn't even realize until recently that many books are FREE (or less than $1.) I'm so glad I found this forum...I've already downloaded several books in the past hour or so that I've been here. I'll most definitely be popping in from time to time to see what's new.

I went through the same thing you did when I first recieved my Kindle. I bought about $80 worth of books before I realized that there were a ton of books for free on Amazon. Only problem was I had to go through various threads in the freebie forum and constantly check the bestseller list in hopes of finding one. The list is actually easier to maintain. It give me a list of titles to check to make sure they are still free and there are a number of great members who will post their findings in here.
