Chris (hubby) is about to finish up four years of hard work for his Bachelor's degree. This weekend is the final project. He's been working with this team for 8 weeks now, and it's involved a LOT of time, sweat, and almost tears. Not to mention me being slightly jealous because he's spent so much time on the phone with the team leader, who happens to be female. . This weekend they have to present this, they're doing a "dry run " Saturday evening and the real thing Sunday evening. Also this weekend is my algebra final. 35% of my grade.... Next weekend is graduation in Chicago. I hate going to Chicago...and he's going to be nervous and snappy and stressed. Weekend after that my son comes in from Texas...flying into where? Chicago. That trip I'm not dreading as much though, a girlfriend is taking me and it's a break for her from two small children, and we're so goofy together it should be a fun trip. Weekend after that? Fourth of July, of course. Which in the town I'm in, means Petunia Festival. Carnival, craft shows, live music, car shows, and you'd better plan on walking cause there's NO PARKING. Anywhere in town except in your own driveway. Not all of this is bad, of course...but I know by the end of Fourth of July all I'm going to want to do is sleep for about a week straight.

Now don't you feel better for having got that off your chest?!?
I LOVE Chicago, but only on an occasional use basis!

We were suppossed to go this summer for Shannon's graduation from college, but other things popped up.

Good luck with your and Chris's classwork.
