I used to have a terrible time falling asleep. I would think about all the things I needed to do the next day or rehashed a problem from the day before. Then I got the idea to start writing a story in my head. I would imagine the settings and characters, figuring out a general plot and just let my imagine take over. Now I fall asleep fairly quickly with a smile on my face (I do love a good story
). Not that I think my stories are all that good and I don't think I've ever actually made it to the conclusion, but I do fall asleep happy!! It's a silly thing, I know, but it works for me.

I am DONE with school for the year! Yes, I will be working this summer there anyway, but I'm DONE with the school year! That and I send the kids off to school everyday.
When summer vacation begins for us next week, I'll be a slave to the family again.
In a weakened moment, I turned my resume in to a couple of schools. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they
don't call. How sad is that?!?!
I adore teaching, but hate working. If I could just spend my time working with the kids in the classroom and not have to deal with all the extraneous garbage, I would be happy to work. Unfortunately, there is no way to get away from it and that tarnishes my time with the kids.
