Yes, the group will probably be listed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival which is a large theatre extravaganza -- from small high school groups to well known international theatre companies. Edinburgh has loads going on in August. There is also a comedy festival and a film festival as well as a book festival.

My favourite is the Edinburgh Book Festival -- the programme comes out tomorrow -- I can't wait!! MR had a meetup last year at the book festival, so I'm hoping there will be some interested folks this year as well.
