I never carry a woman's purse. Never understood the need for them. But, when I fly (which isn't that often), I have my backpack and my camera bag (which holds my passport and some extra money) I can also fit my PDA in there if need be.
(when I flew back from India a few years ago, they found out in Frankfurt (where we had a stop-over back to Amsterdam, that I had left my swiss pocketknife in my hand lugage. I had to check that in as well (or lose the knife) so I only had my camera bag... But with my PDA, passport and creditcard (and camera, naturally) in there, what else do you need?)
