Just a quick scenario, please tell me if you took care of it:
1) User has ipdf(2.7.1.)
2) User starts bionic installer.
2a) backup of ipdf(2.7.1) is made
2b) ipdf(bionic) is installed
3) User upgrades to 2.8
3a) ipdf(bionic) is overwritten with ipdf(2.8)
== Everything's peachy so far.
4) User starts revert-to-original-option of bionic installer
4a) backup of ipdf(2.7.1) is written over ipdf(2.8)
== Somebody's crying.
Since I had no sleep tonight so my deepest apologies if I'm completely off with this scenario.
