As far as I can tell, this question has nothing to do with fonts on the iLiad in general...?
Yes, you can read an A4 book pdf on the iLiad. If the font size was chosen for a true A4-sized page, it will be very small, though, so you'll probably need to zoom and/or rotate the page to read it.
Of course, if you're using a larger font size, then A4 really just describes the aspect ratio of the page, and size becomes more or less arbitrary.
