Why we have to test.
Dear All:
Being completely objective, the first two samples are telling us a lot of useful info about the Pocket PRO but we are seeing some glitches where it freezes up and we have to reset.
This is WHY it sometimes seems disappointing when timelines go wrong. We now have to log all the info on the glitches and then have Jinke do a firmware upgrade. Everyone hopes that even the initial samples will be just great... but they rarely are.
We are overjoyed with the fit, appearance and menu of the Pocket PRO... but when we release it has to be rock solid and it is not yet. We will be talking on the phone tonight (China's start of day) to get fixes started.
A few say that I am only a salesperson hawking devices. I thought it would be good to tell the good with the bad. I try to be objective in this column and I want you to know when something is not exactly right and we need to rework. We need to get a firmware upgrade so the device is recognized by the computer so we can load in books and music for a thorough test.
