Browser--Midori is fine for basic web tasks like Gmail and reading the news but it doesn't support Flash.

Typing--I've used a Fellowes Stowaway Keyboard and a Logitech Internet 350 Keyboard as well as a Kensington Orbit Optical mouse (Model 64327) with the Q7.

It should work with a variety of Bluetooth peripherals (keyboard, mouse, GPS, etc.).

The Q7 definitely benefits from both a keyboard and mouse when trying to do anything beyond the basics.

OpenOffice is not installed (perhaps due to performance and/or storage limitations) but the Q7 comes with Abiword as well as Leafpad.
