I got a worst date story for you all. It has a bit of a twist though. The events to follow take place before my wife and I were married. It is I who happens to be the worst date ever.

Kristen and I had been dating a couple of months and were both working at the same summer camp that summer. On the day that ended one camp all the camp workers decided to borrow the camp van and head into the city for a nice supper and a movie. Things had been going well between Kristen and I and were progressing nicely. Well after a very fun supper with great food and a little cuddling during the movie, I thought that everything was going great and was hopeful for the evening to follow. As it turned out however, we get back into the van and suffer some generally good will teasing about our cuddling when in front of the whole van I call Kristen by the wrong name. My ex-girlfriends name........ quick mike what do you do... So I tried saying that I sneezed and thats why the name sounded wrong. Nope, everyone in the van clearly heard my blunder. Kristen moved up a few rows in the van seating and I thought that all was lost.

I am happy to say though that eventually I was able to attain forgiveness and Kristen and I will be celebrating 7 years of marriage this August. So let that be a lesson that not all worst dates ever are truly your worst dates ever!!!

Mike
