Hello all,

I am new to ebooks. Just got one as a gift (sony 505) and was told about calibre being the best software to use.

Well I've tried to download it but can't get it to work. After the first download, when I tried running the .exe file, microsoft said it couldn't find the program it needed to run it. so i clicked on the option of finding it online. nothing happened.

So then I tried to download it again and now after the download is complete and i click on it, nothing happens and i can't find the downloaded files anywhere on the drive.

what am i doing wrong? could someone please help. i am eager to start using my new ebook.

btw, i have vista.
