I was thinking of splitting the file so that the user has to join the parts to read it, i.e., each part would not be a working ebook... despite Don Quixote being actually two books, published 10 years apart, so uploading as two independent volumes would make sense (but most modern editions include them both together).

I grant, however, that it is much more user-friendly to upload the parts as working independent ebooks, so I'll see...
