I wouldn't say it's his worst book, i enjoyed it, as a standalone book it works very well in my opinion.
David Eddings was one of my favourite authors I must have read the Belgariad and the Malloreon 30 times over the years. However I have to agree with zerospinboson about the Dreamers I was looking forward to them for a long time and I forced myself to finish the series after the second book they truly were awful

the only reason I read the remaining books was because it was David Eddings and I felt sure they must get better... sadly I was wrong.
He will still be sorely missed.
