I checked USA Today's summer book list and am frankly not interested in almost any of it. It makes more sense for me to look for books that I actually want or have read and try to determine things from them. I don't think my reading tastes fall into the mainstream a whole lot, so I may not have a clear advantage with Amazon, or perhaps with Sony. (I must admit having something against Sony since their ATRAC nonsense.)

Hardware-wise, many Kindle owners like yourself are very happy with it. I'm hoping for the best since I'll have a very small window to return anything :-)
