yeah I was Signal Corps, I was in AIT. I know they moved a lot of the school not sure when, did you ever hear about the "Pole Orchard"? that's where we learned how to climb. our school work was done in some of the old wooden barracks. they were always so damn hot that they had those huge stand up fans in the back. the rhythm would become hypnotic and I would end up standing through most classes at Parade Rest to avoid falling asleep. we ran EVERYWHERE even more than the troops training for Airborne as our legs had to be built up for pole climbing. later when I took the Airborne PT test I wasn't even breathing hard
