The Chronicles of Grimm Dragonblaster series, written by Alastair Archibald and available at Fictionwise, has 7 books in it, although only 6 are currently available (the 7th is not yet published). Fictionwise offers the books in multiformat (including LRF and ePub).
This series is a well-written Fantasy/Young Adult series with excellent characterizations. The story opens with Grimm as a young boy being sent to a guild school for mages by his grandfather who had been a master guild warrior until he dishonored himself by trying to smother the dying guild master. The books chronicle Grimm's rise from charity student to guild master weapon and his struggles to redeem his grandfather's name.
These books are a light read but very well written. Highly recommended.
