I apologize in advance to this thread. Juggernaut Jon is indeed unstoppable but every once in a while he needs a time out.

You lie JSWolf, because Ectaco does not. Unless there is a page I have not seen, the Ectaco book request form and words describing it are these, in totality.

The jetBook is an ebook reader, and it now supports quite a few formats, which are clearly shown in the specs. You insist on an addendum saying "We don't read Kindle books, we don't read Sony books, etc. Get off it, you embarrass yourself. Repeatedly screaming "liar" when it is obviously not so is a disgrace.

It reads ebooks, except those locked down by their competitors. Were there not ebook readers before the Kindle and your Sony? Was it not only a short time ago that NY Times bestsellers were not available for download? Is an ebook an ebook, or is an ebook now an azw or lrf file?

I'd have more respect for you if you claimed they existed to read dedrm'd ebooks, which is why I purchased mine (all my dedrm'd ebooks are purchased from Amazon). But of course they have never made that claim and they have nothing whatsoever to do with the dedrming of ebooks.

The jetBook doesn't read drm'd ebooks, and if you stepped back a moment and thought about it you just might find reason to admire them for it.

Someone has done as you asked before and posted about it. Ectaco responded with a list of links for free ebooks. Shame on you.
