Quitting is an excellent idea. I started quitting just 8 months after I started smoking regularly but it took another 5 1/2 years to finally kick it. There were many bumps along the way before I finally said no more. That was over 25 years ago. For those that have smoked for years, I can only imagine how much more difficult it must be. But if you've decided to eliminate it from your life, you have to follow through. Good on ya!
