DixieGal, have you read any Linnea Sinclair? I haven't read any of the authors mentioned here, but I enjoy her space operas. I guess I have to say that her books are labeled as "Science Fiction Romance". They are not firstly romance novels, though - and I usually have to go to the SFF section of the books store to find them. They do tend to include a romantic couple in them to differing degrees, depending on the story.
