I haven't the faintest where to post this, but 1. How is epub's support for footnotes these days, and 2. what program or format could I convert to epub from that supports footnotes?
I currently write quite a bit using word 2007, and the styles support makes for decent formatting, also because Word can also automatically move and keep aligned any footnotes I add to the text. However, I haven't the faintest how I could convert a word document to an epub document, and when I convert from an rtf file (using calibre), the footnotes seem to go *poof*. Is there a solution for that yet, or should I just be patient?
